The rules of chess is quiet difficult to learn. Chess is a two player abstract strategy board game. Each type of piece moves in a distinct way. The object of the game is to checkmate the opponents king. Checkmate occurs when a king is threatened with capture and has no escape. A game can end in various ways besides checkmates : a player can resign , and there are several ways a game can end in draw.
Meantime, the exact rules of chess are unclear , but modern rule took from the middle ages. Today the standard rules are set by Fide ( Federation International des Esches ). There are three types of chess , (Fast chess , Correspondence chess , online chess , and chess 960). Besides the basic moves of the pieces rules also govern the equipment used time control.
Chess is played with in a square board. That divided in to grid of 64 squares colors like black else dark and white. Horizontal rows are called ranks and vertical lines are called files. King is placed each side. One kind and one queen , two rooks , two bishops , two knights and eight pawns. Rooks are place outside the corners, right and left edge. Knights are placed close to rooks. Bishops are placed inside of knights. The queen is placed on the central square of the same colour.
White queen on the white square and black square. The king takes the vacant spot next to queen. Pawns are placed one square infront of all pieces. The basic ending of the game is called dead position . King against King. King against King and bishop. King against King and knight. But remain a piece never deserts to enemy nor does it ever rebel ; it is faithful unto death. This is clear that either a piece have a compassion or oppressive heat against other piece. They move as per the set of rules.
